Priest and Rabbi

A Priest and a Rabbi were leaving a conference of religious leaders
when they arranged for each to see the other at work. After the Priest
attended one of the Rabbi's services, he invited him to come by the
church while he was conducting confession. They arranged a time and
the Rabbi joined the Priest in the confessional.

A young lady enters and nervously says, "Forgive me Father, for I have
sinned .. I have committed adultery 3 times this week." The Priest
forgave her and had her say 10 Hail Marys and make a $5 contribution.

Time passed and another woman entered and announced, "Forgive me
Father, for I have sinned .. I have committed adultery 3 times this
week." The Priest forgave her and repeated the same advice.

As the Priest's day was ending, he was asked to take an important
phone call. He turned to the Rabbi and asked if he could handle any
one who came in, explaining that the parishioner would not know and he
had seen how it was done. As it was rather slow, the Rabbi agreed and
saw no harm in doing the small favor.

Suddenly, a young lady comes into the booth and shyly says, "Forgive
me Father, for I have sinned .. I have committed adultery 2 times this
week." The Rabbi thought for a moment, mulling over in his mind what
had previously transpired, and then announced, "You should go back and
do it one more time .. they're having a special this week, 3 for five
     dollars."
