This year we had an unusually snowy winter on the Quadra Island. There were several major snowfalls after which the snow stayed on the ground for a week or more. And we had below-zero temperatures altogether for about 30 days! The biggest amount of (wet) snow on the ground was about 30 cm on February 24 after it was snowing non-stop for almost three days. These are three views from my window, in front of which a deer seemingly unaccustomed to such weather was hiding under a three for quite some time. And a night view of the Green Road. | |
