Photo 2. Day 1: The bridge over the Yekhe-Ukhguň River in the Nilova Pustyň. On the opposite riverbank is one of the sanatoria of this popular spa. Nilova Pustyň (or popularly called Nilovka) means Nil's Hermitage, Nil was the name of a monk who lived there 100 years ago. Here starts the hiking route to the Shumak springs.
