Full moon above Courtenay/Comox/Salish Sea, 14 Feb 2014

It was not planned at all, but the fresh wet snow slowed me so that I was returning from a hike toward Mt. Becher just in time to catch the spectacular view of the full moon rising above the Comox Valley and the Salish Sea below. Just as I was getting out of the forest, the moon has appeared from behind the clouds. Below are a few photos I made within the next 18 and half minutes as I was progressing further down toward the parking lot at the abandoned Forbidden Plateau ski area. Times of the shots are indicated above each photo. Click on the pictures to get their higher resolution versions.
